Speech on My country India
Honorable Chief Guest, dear distinguished Director, President, teachers, well-wishers of ………………………. and my dear fellow students, Ladies and gentleman. I am extremely happy to be amongst you on this special occasion of Republic Day.

My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……..

Today, I would like to thanks Mr. …………, Director, ………………………. for giving me this opportunity. My speech entitiled is ‘My country India’.

India is my country, my motherland. I love it and I am proud of it. India is a big country. In population it is second only to China. India has a rich and glorious past. Once it was the seat of learning. Students from all over the world used to come here to study. Indian culture spread abroad. Indian goods had a ready market in foreign countries. It was a time when India was a land of plenty.

India is the largest democracy of the world. We Indians enjoy freedom of speech, worship and press. All citizens have equal rights. India is rich in natural resources, yet her inhabitants are poor. The mineral wealth of the country is unexplored. Under the Union Government, new industries are being set up.

India is a peace loving country but she has to spend a huge amount on defence because there is danger from her neighbours, namely Pakistan and China. The present Government under the new Prime Minister is trying to befriend them. India is a land of villages with many languages but there is unity in diversity. Ours is a secular state and all religions flourish side by side.

Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat,

First and foremost, we should hardworking. If we do not know the questions, we can ask the teachers. Thus, we can pass the exam with flying colours. We will get the result at high spirits. Our parents will proud of us. Then, we should follow the rules and responsible. For instance, we should not blame the other people and admit our own mistake. Besides, we should queue up when we buy the food in the canteen.

Last but not least, we must make a timetable and follow what we wrote in the timetable. Besides that, we can exercise time after time because health is wealth. In a nutshell, a good student must have these qualities.

Speech on My favourite fruit
Honorable Chief Guest, Respected Director, Principal, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,

Wishing you all a very happy Republic Day!!

My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……… My speech is about “My favourite fruit”.

I like all fruits, but my favourite fruit is strawberry. Strawberry is a small fruit. Its shape is different from other fruits. It has small spike like seeds outside its body which makes it look more beautiful. I like all food that is made with strawberry like ice creams, cakes, milkshakes, jams, salads etc. They are packed with nutrients and are excellent source of vitamin C. Strawberries have a sour taste but when processed are used as a flavouring agent. They give sweetness to food items. Strawberry has a little green stem. The colour of strawberry is so beautiful. It is red in colour.

Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat,

Speech on Animals
Honorable Chief Guest, Respected Director, Principal, Teachers, Parents and dear friends, good morning

Wishing you all a very happy Republic Day!!

My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……..

God created all living things. So we should respect each other’s existence. We should also admit the fact that god has given much power and intelligence to his favourite creation, the human being.

We keep animals as our pets. I have a pet cat, we call her Puffy. We play together. She sits beside my leg whenever I am at home. The selfless love shown by pet animals is incomparable. Human beings also hunt animals and destroy their homes as and when we wish, to meet our own needs and greeds. Killing of animals should be made a serious offence. Forests should not be allowed to be destroyed. If we do not destroy their homes, they would also not harm us. If we give them their space, they will also respect ours. Let it not be in the future that we see animals only in movies or in the computer. Let not our children ask us, “What is a cat?” or “What is a lion?”

Thank You

Speech on The Value of Education

First of all we wish you all a very happy & warm Republic Day!!

Good Morning. Honorable Chief Guest, dear distinguished Director, President, teachers, well-wishers of ………………………. and my dear fellow students, Ladies and gentleman. I am extremely happy to be amongst you on this special occasion of Republic Day. Nevertheless, I am really humbled and I feel proud at the same time for the grace and trust which had shouldered on me.

My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……..

As you know all of us have gathered here to celebrate 69th Republic Day of our nation. This day, after the hosting national flag, we salute and remember the heroic deeds of all freedom fighters. As a citizen of India, I feel so proud to give a speech on “The Value of Education” and share some of my views with you all.

Every little face I can see here came into this world, trailing clouds of glory from heaven. And suddenly the little angel finds himself filled with doubts, fears and confusion.

Education is what removes our doubts and fears; what makes us happy and peaceful; what makes us better human beings. The teacher comes, removes the darkness and suddenly we find how beautiful this world is. And experience is often our best teacher.

But gaining knowledge alone doesn’t make one educated. Education is complete only when we learn how to live, how to hope, how to pray and how to behave to others.

Once a man was walking in the desert when a voice called him and said, “Pick up some pebbles and put them in your pocket, and tomorrow you will be both sorry and glad.”

The man obeyed and the next morning when he reached into his pocket, he found diamonds and rubies and emeralds. And he was both glad and sorry. Glad that he had taken some – sorry that he hadn’t taken more. The same is true with education.

So my dear friends let us not forget the value of education so that we won’t feel sorry tomorrow.

My special request to all of you, please educate your children and make contribution towards development of our area

 Thank You

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat

Speech on Education of girls in India

Honorable Chief Guest, dear distinguished Director, President, teachers, well-wishers of ………………………. and my dear fellow students, Ladies and gentleman. I am extremely happy to be amongst you on this special occasion of Republic Day. Nevertheless, I am really humbled and I feel proud at the same time for the grace and trust which had shouldered on me.

My name is ……., I am from ……., I am a student of …………. and I study in Std. –……..

Around the world, girls and women are treated as second grade citizens. Every incident of luxury, comfort and even necessities are initially provided for boys and men.

The only requirement of women even today remains to look after the needs of family members and give birth to children. So, it is considered foolish allowing girls to waste their time in studies.

Let us not forget that the purpose of education is not only earning a livelihood, but education makes one a good human being, which transfers on to the next generation. I personally feel that education of girls must be an issue, because it has already been neglected for far too long. Please educate your girl child too.

Thank You

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat

Speech on Save Trees

Honorable Chief Guest, Respected Director, Principal, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,

First of all wishing you all a very happy Republic Day!!

My name is ………………….., I am from ………….., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. – 2nd. My speech is about Save Trees.

Earth has given us many gifts. One of them is trees. Trees are very important to us. Many of our tribes live inside forests which have trees.  Trees provide us timber to make furniture. Wild animals depend on trees for food and shelter. Trees help to prevent soil erosion and floods. They give out Oxygen and make the Earth clean and cool. Many products such as paper, gum, rubber etc are obtained from trees.  Trees reduce pollution and increase rain. Birds make their nests on trees. So friends, SAVE TREES by not cutting them and make them happy.

Thank You

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat

Speech on Don’t Make Fun of Others

Honorable Chief Guest, Respected Director, President, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,

Wishing you all a very happy Republic Day!!

My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……… My speech is about “Don’t make fun of others”.

Everyone, who is born in this world, is funny in one way or the other. But we all are ignorant of this fact. We keep on making fun of others, considering others are jokers but we are very wrong.

A person I know was like a clown herself but used to make fun of others to show her superiority over them. This is wrong. It is better to make fun of yourself instead of others, at least that way you shall not become the better of the others.

Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat,

A Speech on Haste Makes Waste
Honorable Chief Guest, Respected Director, President, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,

Wishing you all a very happy Republic Day!!

My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –………. My speech is about “Haste Makes waste”.

We should not be in hurry to do things. Haste makes waste. Infect when you are in a hurry you are not able to things in a proper way. You become confused. Take an example of a person named Jack. He is in a hurry to leave for the office. He arises from the bed and refreshes himself. Thereafter, he takes bath. He is not able to bathe properly, as he is in a hurry. He is only able to eat a little of his breakfast, as he is in a hurry. Thereafter he dress up and runs to his office. When he reaches offices, he observes that everyone is laughing at him. At last he comes to know that he is wearing his wife’s sandals instead of his. Therefore, we must not do things in a hurry. Haste makes waste.

Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat,

A Speech on Soldiers
Honorable Chief Guest, Respected Director, President, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,

Wishing you all a very happy Republic Day!!

My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –………. My speech is about “Soldiers”.

A soldier is the security guard of the country. He has to be brave and bold. The country can be conquered by the enemies if the soldiers are not able to defend its territory. If the soldier is coward, he would not be able to fight with the enemies courageously. The soldiers who run away from the battle field are shot dead. They are not allowed to run away from the battlefield. An Indian soldier is given many facilities to enjoy. He is given free accommodation and ration with other perks.

Indian soldiers have displayed extraordinary courage in Indo-Pak wars. Many brave soldiers of India have shed their precious lives to save their country from the clutches of the enemies. The soldier gives us protection from the enemies. He saves his nation at the cost of his life. Nation salutes him.

Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat,
